Three Years Hollow Review & Interview with Neil @ Uproar

I was lucky enough to spend some time with Neil Koffee Kulman, guitarist for Three Years Hollow before their set at the Rockstar Energy Drink Uproar Festival on Tuesday, August 26, 2014 in Camden, NJ. Take a look and listen to what he had to say as tis was to be their last stop on the tour before heading home.

The Quad City rockers have always brought an all-energy performance to the stage and any venue they've been booked to perform and let me tell you, they once again did not disappoint. From Neil & Tony's first licks into Demise right through the last notes of the second single off their hit debut album The Cracks, these guys are a well oiled machine that just does not stop. Jose's vocals were once again on point and their stage presense is unmatched by most. Dex & Chris bring the bass & percussion that will grab anyone from their start and once you're in their grip, you should just hang on for the ride because it's going to be a fun one. A chemical ride if you will as their music just releases adrenaline as well as various other chemicals in the brain you not only get the joy of listening to good music, but you actually FEEL it. It is said that humans use only a small percentage of the brain at any given moment, but I can assure you that through music, we have neurons and synapses firing on all cylinders as 3YH take us on a journey through time and emotion through the magic that is music.

That, my friends, is what this rocker looks for in any music. An inordinate ability to absolutely connect with anyone in attendance or within ear shot for that matter.

I've had the distinct pleasure of knowing all of these guys for a couple of years now and can certainly tell you that they've earned every bit of success and every ounce of respect from their fans, collectively known as the Hollow Nation.

Many may say that there are so many new bands out there that it's hard to keep track and that so many bands sound alike these days. I can assure you that this would not be the case with Three Years Hollow as they have a sound that is all their own. Check out what Neil had to say as you get to peruse through some shots I had the pleasure of taking during their performance.

**Note....there's an extra update message real quick in the credits as the guys have been asked to extend their stay on the tour and they have graciously accepted!!
